1. Introduction
We welcome you to the CMoHL, Community Medal of Honor League brought to you in association with Game-Serve.co.uk and the DMW3 Anti Cheat Scanner. A league made by the community for the community. Games will be organised on a week-by-week basis, it will be up to the clans to organise when and where the games will take place.
There are NOT any rules on HOW a clan plays i.e. the tactics they use, positions they play etc. But we must remind clans now that this is a league based on fair play, and to this end clans that are complained about frequently during the course of a league (with proof of course), will not be invited back to the take part in the next season. We may also remove the clan from the current season if the abuse is warranted for that punishment. Also there is no way in these rules that every single possible thing can be covered, so any problems or if you feel you need a rule clarified, then contact your division admin or billie@cmohl.com.
2. Divisions & Ladders
2.1 Premiership, Division 1, 2, 3, 4?etc:
The games for these divisions are sorted in advance by fixtures and there will be 1 match per week (unlimited during catch-up period). The games must be played on the maps chosen for that fixture. So, if a clan plays their week 5 fixture in the catch-up period, then the maps for week 5 must be used.
A game should be played during its respective week, e.g. a week 4 game should be played in week 4. It is also very important that the games are played by the end of the week, so a week 1 game is played by the end of week 1. Please ensure you do not jump ahead of the current set week, we may forfeit the result if you play games in advance. There will also be 2 catch-up weeks before the end of the season, allocated to catching up missed games. Clans are allowed to catch up missed games during the season as well, provided they play on the maps and gametype of that week previously assigned to that clanwar against that clan. During the catch-up weeks, you are allowed to play as many clan wars as possible.
Any clan not having played any games by week 4 of the season will be folded and removed from the division.
All fixtures must be played before the end of the season. Fixtures outstanding at the end of the season will be judged by your divisional admin, the clan who has shown the least effort in trying to arrange the match, will be awarded a Default Loss.
If a clan drops after they have played their first match, or is asked to leave during the season, they will receive a Default Loss in each fixture for the entire season, played or outstanding. Clans that drop out or are asked to leave may not be allowed to play in future seasons of CMoHL at the admin teams discretion. If a clan from any division drops before they have played a match, one of the clans in the ladder division may replace them.
2.2 Open Division (Ladder Division)
There are no fixtures for these divisions. Clans may play as many matches as they wish in the open division.
If a clan challenges another clan, that clan may not refuse to play them and may result in a Default Loss being awarded.
Clans who signed up to play in the CMoHL after the tables are finalised are automatically put in the Open Division (ladder division). If another clan from any other division drops before they have played a match, one of the clans from the ladder division may replace them. We may also decide to remove certain clans if we feel they are not active enough.
If a clan drops or is asked to leave during the season, all points gained against that clan are retained, all other arranged matches will be cancelled. Clans that drop out or are asked to leave may not be allowed to play in future seasons of CmoHL at the admin teams discretion.
2.3 Both
The games will be organised by the clans themselves, this means that the clans will agree upon a time, and server to use. We ask clans, try to agree on using a neutral server if possible for the match. If both clans have there own servers, they will agree between them which server to use, or we recommend that if 2 servers are available then play first round on one server and the second round on the other server. We will leave the clans to decide this between themselves. If , at anytime , both clans cannot agree upon a server then the game must be played either 50/50 or on a server provided by CMoHL.
Any clan can request an admin be present for any match. We shall do our best to provide an admin when requested (although it cannot be guaranteed). Refusing to have an admin present at any match is not permitted and may result in a default loss to your clan.
3 Promotion & Relegation
When the season ends the top two teams are promoted from each division (inc Open Division), and the bottom 2 relegated. However it is the discretion of the CMoHL admins to relegate a team, if the division is short of teams then they may be asked to stay in the same division.
4 League Formats
The league will be played on Objective/Roundbased
All clan wars are to be played on the follow basis.
1. Friendly Fire is to remain ON
2. DMW Anti Cheat Scanner MUST to be used in ALL matches (Current Version)
3. CKR version 1.1 Mod to be used in all matches - See Download Section of Web Site.
4. Custom maps added to current Season?s Map Rotation ? See Season?s map list & the download section of web site.
Matches are to be played on a 6 v 6 basis (unless challenged for a different amount through the challenge), though a clan must produce a minimum of 4 players each clan war for the match to proceed. We urge all clans to play with equal sides where possible. This is entirely the clans decision to play with unequal sides. We must stress that playing a Roundbased map with unequal sides may give an advantage to the team with less players. Clans that agree to play each other at 7 v 7 or 8 v 8 will be permitted, as long as both clans agree beforehand. Though we wish to make it perfectly clear that any player who leaves the server for any reason, the opposing team DOES NOT have to drop any players to match. If both teams agree to play 7 or 8 players at the start, neither team can then expect to lower the numbers once the game has begun. If a clan loses a player due to connection issues, the match continues.
If a clan drops a player on any roundbased maps for whatever reason , then the opposing clan are allowed to do the same if they wish to make the teams equal. this action can only be actioned as long as there is a minimum of 4 players on each side.
4.1 Timekeeping
You have 15 minutes to arrive from the time that was organised. If a clan cannot produce 4 players within the 15 minutes, the opposing clan can insist a Default Loss be awarded. The opposing clan may give more time (for instance 5-minute intervals) or rearrange the match for a later date, both of which would be very sporting. However if a Default Loss is insisted upon, it will not be considered as being unsporting, but bad timekeeping and moaning about it will.
If a clan wishes to cancel a match, they must contact their Divisional Admin (if available) and inform the other clan. Defaults will be awarded if a clan cancels the game with less than 24 hours notice, though we ask that clans try to re-arrange games, as no one likes to win a league with default wins.
4.2 Weapons
There will be weapon restrictions applied to each clanwar played, which has to be kept to, and these will be as follows.
(Max players per team allowed using this weapon)
Rifle - Unlimited
Sniper Rifle - 2
SMG - Unlimited
MG - Unlimited
Shotgun - Unlimited
Rocket - 0
5. Server Setup and Pre Match
It is the responsibility of the Clan Leader to ensure all his/her players are eligible to play before each clanwar, and that player names resemble their respective names in the clans details page. Failure to do this may result in a Default Loss at admins discretion.
We strongly recommend that before each match commences a mass pistol bash takes place. The winning clan gets to decide which map to play first and what side to begin on. Clans rotate between Axis and Allies per map. Then, if you started as allies on map 1, you start map 2 as axis.
Upon request screenshots must be taken by the server admin after using the status and path commands as shown below. These screenshots must be shared with the other clan or admins on request.

6. Server Mods
We currently allow Server Mods to be loaded and running during a clan war; there are simply too many mods to keep an eye on. All mods should be made clear to the opposing clan via a clans challenge notes or you are at risk of losing by default. If a clan feels that a server mod should be removed, they have the right to ask the clan running the server to remove the mod. The mod must then be removed without question.
7. DMW Scanner
Every match must have the latest publicly available version of DMW running. Every player must be checked for Hacks and Cheats. In the case of a new version full of bugs or when the DMW database is down, we suggest postponing the match until everything is working well. It is compulsory that during all official CMoHL clanwars, DMW Anti-Cheat Scanner logs are kept and all matches logged by the server host/admin and that the logs are available to be shared with the opposing clan immediately after the clanwar has finished. We also allow 48hrs for the DMW log to be passed onto opposing clan leaders (if requested). If the DMW log cannot be produced then the opposing team receives a Default win. Please ensure that logging is enabled on your scanner by checking the logging box, then test it to be sure it is working correctly.
If a Clan has the latest DMW3 Scanner then preference using this scanner is taken. If the opposing team does not agree with this , then the scanner shall be run by a CmohL Admin. Either on Cmohl's Server or clans Server. Failure to accept the Scanner being run by a Cmohl Admin will result in a default win.
PLEASE NOTE:
DMW3 Scanner must have *Broadcast server protection* turned on in all matches. Punishment for failing to comply with this rule will be at admins discretion
8. During the Match
During a round, if a player, times out, gets disconnected due to lag, pings or just leaves the server, that round must continue and will stand. At the end of the round the match will hold, the player has 5 minutes to return to the server or the match will continue without them (extra time maybe granted if both clans agree).
On a restart, if a player, times out, gets disconnected due to lag, pings or just leaves the server within the first 5 seconds of a round, the match will immediately hold on request of the clan losing the player. A screenshot must be provided (on request) showing the leaving/pinged player, a request to hold, and the round time not more than 5 seconds expired. If a screenshot is not provided or is not detailed as above the opposing clan will be awarded that round. The player has 5 minutes to return to the server or the match will continue without them.
Players must not enter the server while a round is in progress, and must wait until the match is on hold and they are instructed by their leader to re-enter the server.
Spectating during a round is forbidden, and will result in the round/s in which spectating occurred to be awarded to the opposing clan.
Substitution of players during CMOHL wars are permitted, but these are only allowed in-between maps and not during (unless both clans agree).
Each clan may hold the match a maximum of 3 times per map for player connection issues (this can be increased if both clans agree).
When requesting to hold it is a good idea to say it more than once, but not to spam the server. Do not expect a reply if you have already used both of your holds this map.
The server admin must hold the match if legitimately asked to, failure to adhere may result in forfeit rounds (at CMoHL admins descretion)
On resuming a match 2 clear restarts have to be made with the console stating that the match will officially start on the 2nd restart.
Door blocking is allowed.
9. Members
A player may play for only one "Regular" and one "International" CMoHL clan at a time. If a player is to be found playing for more than one clan at a time, then action will be taken against that player and if the clan he is "mercing" for is knowledgeable about this player's "mercing" then action will be taken against the clan as well. (at admins descrection upto Ban/Default Loss). All players must have a valid DMW pimpkey id entered to be eligible to play in matches and all players must play using their own pimpkey id. Failure to comply with this may result in a default loss to the offending team and punishment for the player concerned (at admins discretion).
If your clan has multi squads these are treated individually as any other clan in CMoHL. You can only play for the squad that you are assigned to otherwise you will be considered "mercing". A breach of these rules will result in a Default Loss to the offending clan at the CMoHL admins discretion.
To play for your clan in the CMoHL matches, You must not be serving a ban from CMoHL, you must have registered an account, verified, and been accepted by your clan leader. You must have completed your "Cool-Off" period (if applicable) and you must be visible on the clans details status page before the match is played. You must use a player name in each match, which can easily be identifiable as your player name on the clans details status page. Breech of any of these rules will result in a Default Loss to the offending clan and possible action against the player.
When a player leaves a clan in CMoHL there is a 1 week "Cool-Off" period, where that player cannot play for another CMoHL clan until a week has past since they left their CMoHL clan. This is not the case if a clan folds, if a clan does fold, then the members from that clan can play for another CMoHL clan after 48 hours. All players who join a clan have to wait 48 hours from the date they joined before they are eligible to play.
10. Scoring
Each map is worth 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss. There are no bonus points. For default wins, maximum points goes to the clan receiving the default, the clan who the default is given against loses a point. This is to encourage the clans to play rather than default in a game they feel sure to lose. Default wins against teams will be monitored closely and any team with 3 or more default wins against them may be asked to leave the league.
There will be no timelimit in the matches, instead there will be a best of 7 rounds format with which each clan rotating between Axis and Allies per map. Each weeks match will be played over 2 maps depending on the pre-selected format for that week. The full 7 rounds will have to be played on each side, a total of 28 rounds would have been played by the end of the clanwar. The total scores over the 4 rounds will be the final result. If a round ends in a draw then that is classed as a round played. Please do not enter the drawn rounds into your final result.
For Example - Week One
Objective CKR - The Hunt
Clan A - Axis 6
Clan B - Allies 1 on the Hunt
Clan A - Allies 0
Clan B - Axis 7 on the Hunt
Clan B wins this map 8 ? 6
Objective CKR ? Bridge
Clan A - Axis 6
Clan B - Allies 1 on Bridge
Clan A - Allies 0
Clan B - Axis 7 on Bridge
Clan B wins this map 8 - 6
Final Result would be a Clan B win 16 rounds to 12 plus obtaining 6 points for winning both maps 8-6.
With rounds drawn in Roundbased.
Objective - The Hunt
Clan A - Axis 6
Clan B - Allies 1 on the Hunt
Clan A - Allies 0
Clan B - Axis 7 on the Hunt
Clan B wins this map 8 - 6
Roundbased Southern France (2 Rounds Drawn)
Clan A - Axis 1
Clan B - Allies 4 on Southern France
Clan A - Allies 2
Clan B - Axis 5 on Southern France
Clan B wins this map 9 - 3 with 2 drawn rounds
This roundbased game only scores 12 rounds even though 14 were played, 2 were drawn and not entered into the final result. So please do not enter the drawn rounds into your final total.
11. Cheating and Exploits
The CMoHL is brought to you in association with the DMW Anti Cheat Scanner. All matches are to be played using the latest version of this scanner system. The server admins will need to install a server side version onto there respective servers and all players will be required to connect to the server via client side version. In addition, if we find any player listed as a caught cheater who is signed up to the league, they will be automatically banned from the league. We run a zero tolerance on cheating and punishment will be decided at the admins discretion depending on what cheat that player was proved to be using.
Abusing map bugs that give you a big advantage is not allowed; this includes jumping out of the map, jumping on rooftops and walls with the help of other players. It is allowed to stack players on top of each other to look and shoot over buildings and walls or reaching rooftops on your own, as long as you dont jump out of the map. The exception to this is the rooftops on St Lo which are totally out of bounds.
Any queries regarding this, please speak to an admin via the forum or msn.
12. Abusive Behaviour & Conduct
We will not tolerate abusive behaviour in matches or on the forums, this includes but is not limited to, excessive spamming, repeated swearing, racial comments, personal attacks, or attacks of any kind on CMoHL and the admin team (this includes impersonating an admin). Punishment will be at the admin teams discretion up to a Permanent Ban for the most serious cases.
13. Dispute Procedure
1. Come find one of us on msm or email the dispute to Billie@cmohl.com (Billie@cmohl.com) or mickporta@hotmail.co.uk.
2. We do not want your entire clan spamming the IRC channel, flooding it with rubbish and demanding to get it sorted immediately.
3. Admins have been advised only to speak to one member or representative of each clan, and only one member they will speak to.
4. They will speak to them privately either in the IRC admin channel or via PM and all messages will be logged.
5. Once the admin has taken your side of the story they will speak to the other team, again, only one member of the team.
6. The dispute is then published in the Admin Forums and the Admin team will provide a decision within 1 Week, though most disputes are resolved within 48hours. You normally wont get an answer that day.
7. Please do not make conflicts unless you have a very good reason with proof. If the Admin team decides that a conflict was raised unnecessarily a Default Loss maybe awarded to the clan raising the conflict.
8. Do not spam the forums with flame, speak to a admin or email Billie@cmohl.com.
We have put this in to protect all members and to make life easier. If your clan insists on spamming the IRC channel with abuse, we will just ignore it until calm is in order. Just give us the facts, thats all we want, the plain clear facts in front of us. We dont get paid, we dont give abuse ourselves, we dont expect it in return
14. Added Rules
1. When a new member to CMoHL joins an existing clan there will be a 48 Hour period of waiting before the member is eligible to play in a match.
2. After a clanwar has been played the clanleader or deputy has to name the team that has played in that particular war , posting in the match report area.
3. Forum Abuse will not be tolerated. Spamming the forums must only be carried out in the Spam part of the forum. Any spam found elsewhere in the forums will be deleted.
A 1 month ban will be introduced for forum abuse and a 2nd offence will result in a permenant ban.
5. New Rules and Existing Rules that are not adhered to will be punishable by the particular Admins discretion , who is dealing with the case.
6: Any clan that has not played any games by week 4 of the season will be folded and removed from the division.
7. A Clandle admin may enter the server whilst a match is in progress without prior permission from either clan. Should either clan request an admin onto the server to sort out a problem then the admin will enter the server. Any clan not willing to accept this ruling will be removed from MoH:AA league.
8:Changing clans:
Any player changing clan on the date of the season end or after is not permitted to play in any matches for their new clan until the following season.
9:Cup Matches:
Players can only play cup matches for the clan that they were registered to before the cup commences.
10:16 bit:
Any player caught using 16bit will receive a 4 match ban for the offence. If a player is caught again using 16bit they will then face a permanent ban from the league.
11:Teams:
Teams must be posted when entering your match results. If a team has not been posted on the relevant match report within 72 hours of the match result being entered then the clan faces being issued a penalty of -1 points.
Before the Game
Before the match commences Clan Leaders Deputy Clan Leaders or War Arrangers have 5 minutes to check DMW id\'s, players names and server settings. Failure to check BEFORE the war starts, for ANY DISCREPANCIES, means final result will stand. (No exceptions)
If a player is found to have an incorrect DMW id that player MUST LEAVE the game. A substitute can be used, if done within 5 minutes. If no substitute can be found, team will play 1 person short.
A Replacement player (outside of 5 minutes) can only join game at end of 1st half of 1st map, or at the beginning of the next, half or map.

14. Added Rules

A Replacement player (outside of 5 minutes) can only join game at end of 1st half of 1st map, or at the beginning of the next, half or map.
