Dobie banned ... wtf ... This maybe a DMW issue , But nevertheless shouldnt Clandle wait to find the outcome of the investigation into the linked accounts problem before posting up players names in their banned section ... Hopefully DMW will look at a new way of banning people and maybe this time that may work ,Instead of banning innocent people (my opinion only) .
Do players who end up on the banned list for no reason get a written apology from Clandle ? or will it be a case of tuff cack .. get on with it ?

I don't know whether or not you are aquainted with the player in question, but this would be my thoughts... Clandle ban players based on DMW caught cheats. If you expect a full blown assesment and counter analysis everytime a player is DMW banned and then consequently Clandle banned, you are living in cloud cuckoo land!


If you analyse the percentage of cheaters caught by DMW and banned on Clandle, I'd imagine it would be a minute percentage that consequently have their ban overturned.

I'm sure if there was a case for mistaken identity i.e. someones next door neighbours cat actually being the culprit, then Billie would apologise.


For the record, if I had been banned and wanted an explanation, I'd have worded my request differently.

Personally i think your ****ing up the wrong tree the issue should be addressed to DMW not to clandle. People that you know and dont know cheat (not all people ) this is the internet and unless you are sitting beside them you will never know DMW is flawed like all other anticheats the codders make it there own personal vendetta to hack the anticheat its like us trying to win a match thats the way they see it as a challenge and sometimes they win sometimes they lose. Oh and btw the linked system thing sucks as we all change our PC's at some stage so then we sell the old one and bobs yer uncle your banned by link.


Sorry guys this is just my opion and i don't think a few people that i know who are on the banned list cheated. But then again we will never know !!!!!!!

Linked to atleast 6 accounts/PCs/Ips or something going back a very long time i believe with one having a cheat on it. God knows how lang ago, but its not as if DMW didnt get it wrong before and im sure will again and have here with Dobie (IMO also). So time will tell :) I just hope DMW dont put Dobie`s appeal on the shelf and leave him waiting too long.

Well , being banned means you got no access on DMW world site anymore, so i can't post there anything about being banned, and i know this forum is also read by billie so i post it here.

I talked to billie yesterday on msn asking why i was banned, she said it was hardware linked, but no details about what part(s) of hardware is involved.
I asked did you take a look at ip numbers, answer was no, we don't bann by ip.
IMHO you can always take a look at ip's anyway, maybe the other account was from the UK and since i live in NL that would prove it aint me

but billie would contact somebody else of DMW who could tell me more info on the ban, and when i asked her if that was gonna happen today or not, i never got a answer

still being banned atm and no investigator is assigned atm

BTW banned for a Spearhead bypass attempt june last year, man I played that game when it hit the shops and put it on the loft prob one week after that, SP s*cks imho.

and in this country you are innocent untill proven guilty, and I never saw any evidence, the least they can do is provide the evidence they have, or claim to have

I understand Clandle has rules regarding how they handle the accused .. But all i was trying to say is .. If a player is banned by mistake and has had his name paraded up on websites as a cheat , would it not be fair to apologise if he is cleared .

Clandle use DMW as their anti cheat for the league and all of it's matches. This means that as long as someone is on the DMW banlist then we shall add them to our banlist also. If I was to question every ban and it's merits then it would be pointless in us using the anticheat.

However, errors do occur as with everything and if a ban should be revoked by DMW then we shall remove the ban immediately

I do not think that Clandle need to apologise to anyone over errors that occur which are not of our doing. However, I do appreciate the distress caused to Dobie by this incident and if being on the Clandle banlist worsened that distress then for that I am sorry but I am sure that you will all appreciate that we cannot pick and choose who we add to the banlist.

Dobie has now been removed from the DMW banlist and ours also
