Message from Catdog, as she seems to be having problems with the forum :confused: anyway, here it is




In week 2 of the league we received an invite from Friends Stand United to play a match
with them on Feb 3rd. We were not drawn against this clan till week 9, we wondered if they
had challenged us in error.

Your dog accepted this match, no one from this clan contacted us but on the 3rd of Feb
we did field a team on our server but no one from Friends Stand United appeared.

I left a message with Billie to say that we thought maybe they had challenged us in error,but
that we did have a team on our server for 30 mins on the 3rd of Feb, and we would not
claim a default win as we really believed this clan had challenged us in error as it was
so far out from our fixture date.

I cannot express how shocked and annoyed I am to now find that Friends Stand United
have the bloody audacity to claim a default win from us.

There is no way I am accepting this. Dogs Uk have bent over backwards to behave in a
fair manner sportsmanlike way to this clan, and in the spirit of the Clandle league.

Please can an admin contact me as soon as possible to discuss this matter.

I do remember Catdog contacting me about this issue.

Result has been reset and match arrangement deleted for you.

I shall contact FSU and find out why the result was put in as a default win to them

Thank you for resetting that Billie. What I do not understand is why it was accepted by admin, I rejected the score and I put my reason in the box, and I know I have my dippsy moments but I know I did not confirm that score even aby accident, as it came up with the screen that my comments would be sent to an admin.

I still am at a loss as to why they wanted to claim a default win now, maybe they hoped it would slide past our notice with it being 3 or 4 weeks in the past.

I am just so glad I msg billie on the night because Im quite sure with no way of proving we had turned up for the match; that default win would have stayed.

The whole incident has been very unsavoury in my opinion.

The result was not accepted by an admin and you did not have a "dippsy moment" - the result had been rejected by yourself and was waiting for an admin to sort out.

I have no idea why the default win was put in but I will have a chat with them and find out :)
