register on COD4

hey..just registered on here but i cannot seem to register on the COD4 site which im trying to join so my clan can participate in season 2. apparently my usernames been taken ( and as have others which i have tried) and that it cannot find any accounts linked to my email....

you got any ideas of what i should do?
