Clarify Round Result?

Hi,

Just wondering if you can clear this up for me for future reference.

In the cup game Vs Rejeks the following situation happend...

5v5, 1 player dead on each team, 1 of our players got disconnected and the round continued until the time ran out (round based) - Rejeks said that because of this that the round went to them. They could be correct, I really dont know so I was just wondering if you could clarify who won the round, if it was drawn or should it of been replayed?

Its also possible the kill against Rejeks was done by the player who got disconnected - If this makes any difference?

I was under the impression that it was based on kills at the end of the round.

Seeing as your players had 0 kills as the killer had disconnected, we won the round.

If this isn't the rule it needs changing, otherwise the first team that gets a kill all disconnect and win the round.

I hope this clears things up for you n00bs.

total kills win....if a player disconnects and it gives them an advantage as he was dead...well i would disconnect aswell so it levels as a draw....thats y lame clans win rounds because of this.....if u get wat i mean

it goes on kills, if its 2-2 on kills and some 1 with a kill disconnects, the score will still be 2-2, look at tdm if the score is 500-400 and one player who has 150kills disconnects the score doesnt change,

The result goes on kills - you had 1 kill each so the round was drawn. Whether or not the player who left was dead or alive the result would be the same - a draw.

People make the mistake of looking at players alive rather than how many kills there have been.

I stand corrected and thank you for clearing this matter up. However, I find this ruling to be preposterous and know what to do if there isn't a modification to the rule, we just disconnect when we have 1 more kill than the opposition.

Tbh Fuppet has been around since the jolt.co.uk days so he should know what happens. Lets say Team A has 6 players Team B has 5 players. If Team B makes a frag 1st they are winning even though it's a 5on5. It is and always has been the CL's responsibility to read the rules, not mine. Therefore I haven't the foggiest what's supposed to be going on. Whenever I ask a serious question to the admins, they just ridicule me.

Ok such a brilliant rule so on the next game we play and its all down to the last round on roundbase we need a win to win. So start of game we get 2 kills they get 1 with 3 minutes to play and omg all remaining live players (not dead) get disconnected so we win the round ...This rule needs reapraised :banghead

Oh and by the way the round did not make a difference to the rusult but this could be what could happen if you get a very lame clan if you see what i mean.
