not think its about time dead silence was added to the perks in wars .
iam sure iam not the only one who always uses this perk out side of wars ?
i cant get into a match as iam so used to playing dead silence ..
and i know on our public server 80 % use it too ..
its ok for campers or snipers as they dont need it :booty ,
and for thoses who say its not part of a war , wat about the bunny hoppers ? every where u look in matches now they are hopping about , now where in a war would u see that ?
its more plausible to say you could make a " quite or silent " retreat or advance in a war if your getting shot at .
well there you go .
heres hopin enough peeps feel the same way ... :bye
god no plz don't add that lol the less perks the better :banghead

Hi,
Personally I wouldnt want to see this. My headset broke recently so i`ve been playing wars as if everyone had dead silence recently and it was horrible. 50% of the game is sound and although you can still hear people when they have it turned on the advantage it would offer would out weigh things.
I guess everyone could use it but i`m much more of an Extreme Conditioning man, especially on larger maps :D

All the perks have pro' and con's-this is simply another one which i use outside most matches,i think it is a good perk and should be allowed alongside extreme condioniong-deep impact etc.At the end of the day,as long as all teams have same options-the game is fair:):)

I personally dont have a problem if it was to be re-introduced. I prefer to leave 'most' perks in, people prefer fewer perks because having it available to others means that they have to drop their own favourite perk if they need to use it on to compete.
It's the same argument used by people that dont like UAV, cos it would mean that they would have to use Jammer and lose their favourite perk, or want to get rid of Claymores cos they would have to use Bomb Squad, etc, etc.
Having perks allows teams to have different tictacs with the various combo's of weapons and/or perks, removing them just allows the "pro's" to dominate by ensuring nobody else receives an advantage in an area that they dont have (cos they have chosen a different load-out).

TBH... The dead silence perk should of never been omitted in the first place:banghead Its one of the most popular perks used on public servers.
I'm a firm believer in keeping the game stock with "just a bit of fine tuning for match play" the reason being ..it doesn't fragment clans from clandle and the wider gaming community.
I'm with Buster...please give us our beloved dead silence perk for the new season admins :adore
nice post Dazzer ..spot on bud :beer
:bike i would vote yes to dead silence perk aswel i use it a lot aswel on publics.

Hi , I belive that dead silence should be allowed as a perk becouse it is somthing u can actualy do in real life more so than some of the other perks such as uav although it does exsist but it is few and far between. The armed forces may have it if they r doing a raid or other operation that is prepared but not like we have it in cod however deadsilence is somthing that every 1 can do. If you were in a real war you would walk as quiteley as possible not to alert the enemy of your position but also do not forget it is not actualy silent you can hear people approching you just have to listen as you would in any war situation. But without it you dont have the option of walking quietley you just have one sound and that is noisey no finese it just sounds like you are walking on gravel all the time. as we all no you can always hear the person before you see them i would say that 80 percent of my kills are on sound and i think that having dead silence would make the matches a lot more intresting and life like.
thankyou for reading

Hi,
I`m not bothered either way tbh after thinking about it, if its there people will use it, it`ll be available for me to use if I so wish so its fair.
For dingle though, dead silence allows you to run and be quiet(er), this isnt life like, unless you have very light shoes.. maybe made out of feathers or something :D

I say let it be in the list. More realistic than some of the allowed ones.

Although dead slience has now been incorp'd into clandle pam, you will loose other perks if you select it.
DS will not always be of benefit during wars... :ahhhh

To be perfectly honest, It would make the game a lot more challenging and make it more interesting to find out where the enemy players are. Plus if the perk is available to both teams it is going to be fair. :bandit

yeah popeye... its not even fun.. its not realistic.. how many kan run quiet :S??
not realistic ?? its only a game m8 , if you go down that road then u get the usual , bunny hoppers , hows that realistic , then theres shooting through walls , which is realistic , but not from the point of players going to the same place all the time and shooting non stop , why because they play the maps over and over and know where everyone goes , the list can go on .
but it just dont happen in real life ,
and something that is not fun for you is fun for others ,
and like studek said thoses who use it will loose other perks ,those without it may have a better advantage , but at least its a choice that each player can now make .

Dead silence is good, play the map enough and it's useless anyway because people can guess where you will go....
Saying it isn't realistic is a bit daft...it's a game, you think it's anything like the real thing? :\ If you're shot in the head in the army...you won't get another round to retry!
Keep the perk, it's part of them game...there are much more annoying parts to the game...

It's about keeping it as realistic as possible m8..guessing where people will go is also a factor, yes, but seen as most wars include a whole bunch of 1v2 etc, it really shouldn't be a crucial one..dead silence is for public and never should have been brought into clandle in the first place.

It really isn`t.
CoD series are "games" and with this comes "fun" - I wouldn`t of thought getting shot was much fun.
If you want realism then I suggest the closest thing you may get is this...
