Season 17 is now live.

There are some big changes for this season. Roundbased has been replaced with tdm and the open division is now an objective ladder. Any clan can join the objective ladder at any time throughout the season.

For the objective ladder each clan will pick one map. The chosen map must be posted in the challenge notes.

Matches can be arranged and played as of now.

Good luck to all clans and have fun

The rules haven't completely been updated regarding TDM. Judging by the timelimit, a round lasts 15 minutes, but do you play both sides? (probably yes, but just to be sure)

Also, how do you enter TDM results? Do you enter the kills, or do you count the 'rounds won'?

15 mins as Allies & Axis, 30 mins total for the round is the norm Lagg m8 and TDM results are always by kills.

Just wanted to be sure, as it might make for insane round averages in the table. ;)

OBJ score: 8 - 6
round average: +2
TDM score: 345 - 258
round average: +87

It does kind of give an advantage to TDM clans should two clans end on equal points.

@ DD ........ Your welcome sir :bath ( also sarcasm ) grrrrr :can

@ Lagg, Why would it be a bad thing if it was a drawn match ? Obvious I would think for the draw plus it opens the door to TDM clans to join the Clandle league and get us all more matches hehe. Isnt this what we all want at the end of the day ?

It would be bad because when clans end on equal points, their position in the league table is determined by round average. In this set-up, clans can score a LOT more 'rounds' on TDM, literally hundreds more than on OBJ. What that means is that if a clan loses the OBJ map, but wins the TDM map, it will almost certainly gain an advantage (of several dozen rounds) over the other clan and end up above them in the table by round average, even though they technically drew the match. This was possible with RB too, except then it went both ways; the clan that won the OBJ map could still end up higher.

With RB the scoring system was the same as OBJ, but the scoring for TDM is radically different. Since you can't change how you score, I'm just wondering if we should come up with an alternate way of entering these scores, so that you don't get this kind of moaning midway through the season. ;)
