could an admin help with this please .
we had a match booked with BATT for tuesday 11th nov @ 19.30 uk .

we had a team in our server waiting , and also got clandle admin dosiedick to check our server to confirm that we had a team on ..
we added all the contacts that batt had , to msn and xfire , rejekz blue got hold of there CL genreaper . and told him we had a match , this was at 19.42 , all he said was " iam cl " gave blue another contact for msn and then logged off again .

i waited till well after 20.00 then posted a default win , explaining why .
then at 20.25 booter xfired me .

rejekz never like to take a default , we had members waiting to play and where dissapointed that batt was a no show ,
we still had the team on line when he xfired and very willing to play as you can see i asked him ,

did clandle change the booking times when the clocks went back ?
or did i miss something ?

all that we new was that we made contact with there cl , and he was'nt able to help arriange this , so we felt he didnt seem bothered so after waiting 30 odd minutes we claimed a default win

we dont want any bad blood with a clan , so could admins sort this please , if yous changed the times then it was just a mistake , and we can sort out another date

Since the turning back of the clocks on Sunday the previously arranged match times have been set back by an hour also. Please ignore this and stick to the original arranged match time.

So yes something went wrong with putting the hours back to winter time. Srry for the inconvience as stated there and i think something went wrong between two clans willing to play? :)


So i would say lets try to re-arrange? If both BATT and Rejekz want to re-arrange.

My opinion at this point but i dont admin HC ladders so i would contact e4e or major (Studek/Billie also possible) on this matter.

As Squeezer said.... if both clans want to re-arrange then that will be allowed.
Or if both clans are agreed on default then that will stand...

Please post your intentions on this thread so we can amend where needed.


I'm also in the same situation for next week as match was arranged for 20:00 but is now showing 19:00.

I would strongly encourage everyone that agreed on matches before clocks went back (25-10-08) just to re-check and also contact other clan just to validate times.

rejekz will certainly play , as this was a mistake and of no fault of any of the clans :doh:, maybe the better idea when something like this happens is to email clan cls , as i have missed this important post .
also like to apologise to batt for the misunderstanding , we like to be on time for all our matches and not keep anyone waiting , but with the unknown circumstances involved we had thought it was a no show ,
sorry lads , can we gets this match rebooked ?

ps . if batt feel they dont want to play this , then could admins reverse the default win to batt please as they would have been in at the right time , and unlike me have read the post about the time change ..
