Again this has nothing to do with you, as usual.

For your information i`m using the following rule..

We will not tolerate abusive behaviour in matches or on the forums [...] Punishment will be at the admin teams discretion up to a Permanent Ban for the most serious cases.

I`m using my "discretion" as part of the "admin team" and banning on the forums and CMOHL as a punishment for childish insults thrown towards me. If you have an issue with this Spartan (as i`m sure you will - getting quite repetitive now) then please take your issue up with a more senior admin.

Any further pointless posts regarding admin decisions will be removed.

Spartan out of curiosity why did you give up being an admin I am sure when you were an admin you would not tolerate any such behaviour too. Think sometimes you still think you are an admin because when I read some of your posts it comes across that way.

That is your logic. As I have proven in the past, I rarely follow your logic. This is the beauty of life and is what makes me different to you.

I`m sure i`ve mentioned this in one of the other topics you`ve stuck your oar in but just incase I failed to mention it...

If you wish to have a greater say and indeed think your points are valid and true then you should of kept your admin position. When you decided you would move on you paved the way for new admins to fill the positions, in turn you allowed different points of views and different "logic" to be applied by said admins.

Should you wish to have a greater say in dealing with petty and childish comments left by some users then I suggest you submit an admin applications to : billie@clandle.co.uk - I wish you good luck with your application should you submit one.

On a final note, looking back over some of the old bans, you yourself, yes the peoples champion of Clandle rules, Mr Spartan himself on the 5th July 2007 made a match ban lasting 1 week for... lets wait for it... drum roll please.... "forum abuse" *clash of symbols*

1 week, yes. Not 1 month. A bit of an overreaction if you ask me, considering he only said 1 word that could be considered an insult. You called it a 'personal attack'? All he said was 'retard', which in today's world isn't much of an insult anymore (which is proven, methinks, by the fact that it isn't censored by the swear filter). I've seen people say a lot worse on here and walk. Actually, the last paragraph of your post is, in a sense, more of an attack than Puni's sarcastic remark was.

Major Lagg, yes you could see it as an "overreaction" but due to the fact he went out of his way to aim the comment directly at myself, over an issue on another site and in an issue that many more than just myself took the same view ("vote") then I see it as a 'personal attack'.

Anyway that`s my final word on the matter. Childish insults are not acceptable here and result in penalties.

Sorry Christopher, i believe that was on a match report, my earlier comment was wrong as some parts of the forum are to do with matches, therefore i retract my comment and apologise.

We have different opinions indeed, mainly because when you become an admin and have to actually deal with people it does get you more strict...so i understand, i'll try not to be such a bother and keep my opinions to myself.

As unless you hid it well, you didn't find me annoying when you weren't an admin ;p

You shouldnt have been banned anyway Puni as there wasnt enough evidence to support it. Its their, DMW's, own fault that they didnt have enough evidence because if the system was up-to-date or if they had spent the time blocking the so called cheat you were accused of using then we wouldnt have had a stupid bloody poll as the evidence would be there in the pre-emp.

But thats just common sense ;)

While i`m on the subject, did you not notice that I was voting in protest of the whole "vote to unban player XYZ" and couldn`t care less if you got unbanned or not?

I`m sure you were far too busy rallying round the support team to notice that my vote was showing what a mockery DMW and the whole issue around voting to unban players was and how it makes a mockery out of the whole DMW anti-cheat system as a whole.

Never have I known such a shambles of an operation than can allow issues on banning to goto public votes, either they have confidence in their software to ban someone knowing they cheated, or don`t ban them in the first place.

On a further note I wasn`t eligible to vote but my vote still stood, showing even further what a poor system it is.

If you cheat then good for you because you`re now unbanned thanks to a kangaroo court, if you don`t cheat then you shouldn`t of been banned in the first place.

No need to direct your hate towards me because I have no opinion of you, I am speechless by the way in which DMW handled the whole issue, there is a difference there.

I dont know what happened here.
I played on 2 servers
one TDM server and after that I played on a OBJ server
with Spanish people on it.
Then I wanted to go to the BAD server to play a couple of rounds there
but before I got in I was kicked by DMW saying that I have to relogg in or something like that.
So I did but when I clicked connect it said my DMW was banned :/
I really dont have a clue whats happening here.
I didnt cheated like the time before this bann :S
Im sick an tired of DMW screwing things up, cause Im not a cheat!

PuNiShEr for the amount of times you`re getting banned for "not cheating" - You might want to try "cheating" - It could be like a topsy turvy world in that, if you don`t cheat you get banned and if you do cheat you don`t get banned... but that would mean everyone who isn`t banned is a cheat :O

Seriously, if you don`t cheat then i`d start a stop using DMW movement because its obviously bugged to ban you twice.

If you do cheat then just accept it and move on.

I played a lot with Puni, and know for sure that he didnt cheat in any match that I played in. Puni is mostly bottom of our killcount too, so it would be quite funny if he DID turn out to be a cheat.

I never liked DMW, allways problems with it (or the scanner). Still can't blame a few hobbyists though, its EA's fault and I'll never forgive them :)

I'd like to request that this thread stays clean of forum trolls please. Until this is sorted, obviously Puni will not be playing for us (since he can't without DMW). We'll keep you posted as information becomes available. Other than that, there's no real need to post in here, other than kicking up a fuss and nobody gains anything from that.

Pun was kicked from a Spanish server for an 'altered .dll file' while his config wasn't set on read-only and subsequently banned. The actual file is now in possession of DMW and we're awaiting their analysis. BOD has already looked at it himself and concluded that it hasn't been tampered with, but of course BOD isn't DMW so his word doesn't count.

I find the whole situation fairly amusing really, as Puni doesn't have a clue what .dll files even are, never mind knowing what folder they're in or how to alter them. And if he is a cheater, he's very bad at it...
