However, I would like to complain, with the Clandle Ruleset. team-eG planted Bomb and it went off, however, Ci5 player defused it giving the round to them and us. Whats that all about? ONE round should have been awared to us as bomb went off, not to both teams, thus throwing us off.

Some one needs to look into this issue as I have a clan that is unhappy bunny tbh, as we felt cheated out by bug....

However, I would like to say that Ci5 played well and was very close game. Fun friendly bunch of lads, so well played to you. Shame we had the issue of me playing in the beginning, (YES i know the rules and respect them, however, this is a tight night league for a friendly bunch of clans, we had issues with clans befroe in earlier seasons with their GUIDs and let them play on, telling them to sort it out after, there was no need imo to get all hissy :P) never really had that problem ever, my human error of GUID, so game started sour.

Thanks for the game, however, I would like a review of the bug on 2nd map as this situation should not occur in such a tense situation in a CUP.

Also I would like to be invited to the Admin chat next time when Squinter went to chat about Admin, I felt that this was a bit rude and all behind closed doors, not letting me to explain myself.

Even though I got told to play, I still feel it was rude that I was not allowed to participate in chat with the admin, and when I asked to speak to Squinter on Ci5 ventrilo I was told "no" by Ci5 members.

Pingu i was nt in a convo with a clandle admin it was another member talking to one on msn, we wanted to know what the rule was for guid changing just before a match, fair enough it was you that was playing but we had to check guids before the match not after it which is im sure what most clans do, im sorry if you think it was rude but we wanted to get it settled quickly so the match could begin. And yes the bug should be looked into.

Oh ok, that wasn't stated in the game chat, or maybe was when I was away, all i saw was you saying somehting along the lines of "im going to get an admin tos ort out this issue". Then kicker kept saying that "you were talking to an admin". So I do aplogise if I got the wrong end of the stick, but I go with what I see.

Still a bit rude not letting me come on vent and explain it tbh, I was more than happy to explain the situation. Just spoke to Gurk and will be chatting tomorrow with him in more detail at 19.00UK but when you stated the new laptop had nothing to do with the GUID change you were wrong( or one of the Ci5 players was), as Gurk explained as I got a new laptop and reinstalled I get a new GUID. SOMETHING that i was NOT aware of. Now I know ill have to change my GUIDs, so thank you Gurk.

However, still a shame it started so sour as this league is small, Team-eG been here for 4 seasons now and got friendly with a lot of the clans. Yes if my whole team GUIDs were wrong then look into it, but why kick up a fuss about someone we all know. Deal with it later, if it was you we would have jsut got on with the game and dealt with it after. We have done this before for other clans and game was friendly etc.

We do know the rules and respect them, shame it got sour so early before the game even started.

Hi there guys. im the fouder of team-eG that does not mean im leader in anyway. But would first like to say sorry for any rants by my players in the heat of the battle due to the mod messing up and not the other team.
Now theres been a few problems with the mod over the years/seasons mainly reg and lag tho i have seen in pam before a bug where one teams calls a timeout the other team wins by killing them all but cant defuse the bomb and in afect lose that round. Plus other things in my time in cod 4 across afew diff mods and leagues so these things do happen. Tho in my eyes my lot should of keep there cool and pulled it together ready for the next round. I know without saying asking who 2/3 was raging about it when it happened. In my eyes Ci5 did nothing wrong they have even posted above saying the mod should be looked at. Yes it was in there favour but they keep there cool and played on as my lot should of and with doing demos and taking screenshots forget about it and move on then ask Qs about it after the match. So id say change the score by one round and GG to Ci5 tho i wasnt in the match or about at the time and have only heard the stroy from my team for a outside point of view i feel thats the right action tho my team will hate me for saying so. I hope they will learn from it and move on better for it it one of the main things i try to teach is to keep your cool and play on and deal with things chilled in the right manner after a match. May after that they will understand why.
Im sure the admin will make the right choice and best of luck with whateva is given.

Cass ty for that, your team did not go on and on about the buggy bomb, i guess they were as surprised as us as to what happened and pingu was right to make a complaint here in the forums about it , i think the problem here is being blown out of proportion which is the guid issue, we done what most clans would do if guids dont match, as we have never played team.eg and pingu wanted to come on our vent how where we to know that it is really him we are talking to? The point of guids is to let other people know that it really is the person who matches that guid and not someone else, i think before he changed his guid on the forum i offered to make it a 5v5 which was the quickest way to sort the problem, after he changed his guid we needed to know if there was a 24hr rule on changing guids just before a match, i could nt find any admins on xfire but one of our members had one on msn, he asked if it was ok for pingu to change his guid just before a match, the answer we got was "yes its ok" therefor we asked team.eg to rup, we needed a quick and simple yes or no answer from the admin, i dont think we needed to get into a group conversation about it which would have wasted more time, team.eg seem like a nice bunch, hopefully this has nt soured things to much.

yeah thats cool buddy. nothing sour tbh, we all friendly here in the league (unlike CB where you get kids raging n moaning :p ). don;t worry about the guid, all sorted etc gg and w to both teams. though bug needs looking into.. :)

Sorry to intrude on this thread as its nothing to do with me, But you say the bomb went off and the player defused it giving the round to both teams.


If I understand that right both the teams scores increased by 1 making the round outcome un important (That 1 round), apart from identifying a clear bug in either the ruleset of pam4.

Yeah I understand where you coming from, but the point is, is that when you are 3-0 down in a very close game and you have a bug interfer with a round that you should have won making the same situation 4-1 (3 rounds behind). This can have an effect on teams morales, I'm sure Ci5 would have been not affected by this as much as they still have a 3 round advantage, while with us, wanting to bring it back for a 2 round advantage, only for this to be taken away from us and making us still climb a steep hill.

We were confused at the fact that I was defusing the bomb, losing and winning that round, but you still had an extra round to win which we didn't know or realise until it was due a map change and it went to the 11th round.

I havn't came across that glitch before and the chances of it happening again are very slim as you would need to time the defuse extremely accurately, but if and when it does happen BOTH teams get the round and an extra round got added ontop of the 10 rounds making it 11 rounds in total which basically cancelled out the glitch round as neither team gained or lost the round.
