http://uk.news.yahoo.com/itn/20071101/tuk-think-tank-says-downgrade-christmas-dba1618_1.html

First can people verify that my eyes aren't THAT bad and i'm reading it right...
What a joke...i'm not that racist...( everyone is sometimes :) ) but what the ****...these foreigners coming over to England should HAVE to follow our ways...because look what giving them anything does...
Give them an inch and they want a mile...that's something like the phrase i want...

Why should we have to make sacrifices to make the foreigners who shouldn't even be here..."feel more at home"
Some places in England are actually high populated by asians than anyone else...

The amount of asians i hear saying "PAKISTAN RULES"...the temptation to say...well go the **** back is just...well..what stops me is the fact i'd probably be shot if i did...

If people want to come live here...use their skills to work, and help...good...we can welcome them...as long as they accept they are in England, and should follow our ways...but the ones who sponge of claiming benefits...and demand super mosques and prayer halls in public buildings....just please....go back to your own country and praise it from there...

England has been going downhill for years...but "downgrading" such things as christmas, not letting us have flags with "England" written on it on our houses as it "causes offence"....if it causes offence...tough ****...

Go sign petitions on downing street site to try and actually help the English people...

Call me racist, i have no care...sick of foreigners getting what they want, when they want.

It's all Arthur Scargills fault.

The state of this country isn't anyones fault other than our own. When you look at all the maufacturing jobs that have been lost it all started to go downhill with strikes for more pay. Eventually we priced ourselves out of the market, it wasn't the government that did it!

My other gripe that costs us a fortune is the accident/claim mentality...that costs us a blinking fortune.

Regards

the accident claims are clearly the influence of america though fuppet...although we do take notice of it so our fault there....
But we don't control how many people are let in the country to live...that is my point about the government...they let in as many as they want...and give them more support than the English people...they aren't made to learn English..they are allowed to practice any religion they want...but ooo that isn't enough...they want however many mosques and halal meat for school dinner...my old college didn't allow a christmas tree...and we had to have "winter dinner" but of course the muslims got a prayer hall...all year round.
They skip school on their holidays and don't get moaned at...it's not a holiday, they should be at work or school...
Some stuff is our fault Fuppet...but not the amount of foreigners coming over here and trying to RULE our country...

My advice is for you to stop spouting out the things you read in the newspapers as we can read them ourselves and form our own opinions. I agree with a few of the things you say but most of it is just regurgitating exaggerated press stories designed to rile people, it works with you i guess. Immigration is an issue but please don't be fooled by what you read.

Forcing people to live the way we live is a dictatorship, forcing people to learn a language is the same. Don't forget that we can go and live in any EU country we want to if the UK doesn't take our fancy. Our economy is strong at the moment but look at the opportunity this gives our children and grandchildren. Our economy won't be the strongest in Europe forever.

Who values christmas anyway? It's just a good excuse to spend time with the family. I won't get in to the amount of people who say they are religious but say they are to sound cultured or appease family.

Are you under the impression that "blacks and asians ruined my country" still, or what is your agenda by posting this?

Yes Breadbin i read it alllllll in the paper, it's not like where i live the poles and asians are getting an easier walk in life...oh wait they are.
Also the fact i know someone that is involved with the government and works with the pm...so i don't need to read it in the papers most of the time.

I'll change what i said to "some" and add eastern europeans as well ta.

Adopt Australias rules.

Christmas is tradition in England, even if no-one cared about it now...we shouldn't downgrade it to make foreigners at home...can you imagine going to pakistan and building a church and asking them to downgrade whatever holiday we are "offended" by...no
I really am starting to think you don't care for England Breadbin...because you just seem to be giving in to turning it into "The world on an island"

If they're seriously thinking of downgrading Xmas that is ridiculous, I must start a facebook group and petition!

But seriously if they did I'd be one of many protesting like we used to for womens rights!

Remember the good old days Fuppz?

IMO its too late to actually start somthing, like stopping people coming into the country, because we have let so many people in, so many on doll and or getting money off the goverment. Also, "help immigrants settle into the UK." Erm, it was, last time i cheaked, our country. So they should have to follow the way we are.

"It emerged in 2006 that three out of four employers were not putting up Christmas decorations in the workplace for fear of offending staff of other cultures." I just thought that was funny. Haha.

"then public organisations should mark other major religious festivals too." Why should we, they joined our country, thinking all there beliefs ect are going to be welcomed?...Ok.

I had fun reading it actually, and if this happens, i might just laugh abit more :)

China will rule the world someday anyway
But for now i'd just like England to be full of English for a change....
BNP won't get elected...but hopefully they will get enough votes for Labour to see they have to sort it out

I'd be offended if my company started putting up xmas decorations. I don't believe in any religion so to have that shoved in my face is an insult to me too.

TBH, these imagrants come to our country and expect, their beliefs and religiouns to be more important than our own. Of we went to their country they would expect us to praise allah and fook what we belive.

They should all be thrown back in their own country, so we can have our housing and our own ways back.

Highly unlikely.

Breadbin your trying to get a laugh as usual but this time you need to think before you open your fat mouth

before long the uk will be split down the middle, the goverment has screwed us against the wall, we are taxed so high fuel is now the highest taxed country in the world a massive 83% goes to the goverment, you say its for the roads but its not its to pay for all these immigrants, i know someone who works in the mrtgage business and he says 68% of mortgage applications are from immigrants who will never work, there money comes from the goverment you try it cause i have and got told to go and jump. I have lived here all my life and payed a hell of a lot of tax and i get basic benifits off the goverment whilst these immegrants get everything they want.

All immigrants that come here to live our way of life and speak our langauge i have no problem withthem lets give them a chance. There are some really nice hard working peeps among them but there is about 75% of them who have no intention to learn our langauge just rip us off and it needs stopping once and for all.

I do enjoy xmas Cossie, i enjoy spending time with my family and eating/drinking/singing too much. I just find it interesting that so many people in this country call themselves religious yet never practice their religion. This is mainly people who consider themselved Catholic or Christian. Anyway, i don't believe any of that tosh, science ftw!

Our government has been screwing us over for ages. They try and make the UK a "multinational" country yet the tossers give more to the immagrants than they do those who were born and raised in the UK. Immagrants are looked after WAY too much. . maybe its because our government are a bunch of pussies and think that we will be attacked by other countries if we dont support them?

Out with the immagrants and our government, in with arnold ( who smokes weed and calls it a leaf! - cos he is pro! ) :boxing

The problems people dont realise is Governments may change, but policies wont, the real blame artists are the people behind the Governments, people named Civil Servants. They actually turn politics on a full circle, and go with the flow. The Policy maybe there, but sometimes its just all words and no action.

On the subject of this.... Sainsburys still show Christmas Decorations, in fact it is encouraged by all beliefs, infact in my Secondary School, a school that hosted 45 different languages, and many different cultures, most of the asians actually prefered christmas to their equivialent of Eid. I found that quite amazing, and this article is only being spewed out by the "do gooders" who actually give this country the opposite of it really wants.

The only way Governments or the various different policies is IF the British People who are too lazy to vote, go and abstain their vote (by crossing each and every box, which means its then a void vote), rather than not turning up, then the Government and other parties will realise that the majority of the country think their policies suck and they need to start sorting it out. However until then i will just say, it wont happen right now. I actually did abstain my last General Election vote, (even though naturally i support Labour and feel Labour have done a good enough job on some issues) because i feel all the parties are just not listening to the public on issues like Immigration.

On the issue again of Christmas, i do go to Church, i sing in the choir, and to me that makes my christmas (when singing at services like Midnight Mass especially whilst drunk), christmas. Christmas these days is far too commercial, but thats the way of life, its all about convience shopping. I love my Christmas decorations, and i love turkey, i love going to church and singing to nice carols, and if christmas decors were taken down at my work place, id feel offended that christmas was not being celebrated.

Yes we live in a multicultural society, yes we live with different cultures, different ways of life, but each and every different christmas culture should be respected, including (and via a prioty as this country is called United Kingdom, and not the United World) our very own Christmas. One year i saw a poster saying "Winter Trees 500 yrds to the right", i found that disgraceful.

On the subject of immigration, yes we should adopt Australias immigration policy, if you have a skill we need you are a prioty case, and get a 2 year or a 5 year visa, if you dont, you have to wait. The sorry state of affairs, that i feel Labour has NOT done well in, but i feel neither of the other parties would do well at all.
